Crazy x Sane (Belated)

One of the craziest thing happened to me. I finally got to get up close and personal with my most favourite Youtube star - Ryan Higa. Mind blown x 1000. The best part was I did not see it coming at all. I know this seems crazy but I actually prayed to God that I would absolutely love to have a picture (at least) with Ryan. Had this strange prompting saying that good things are worth the wait. Bizarre i know right.

The youtube fest was great. Through this fest, I found out about so many other awesome youtubers like Eatyourkimchi & Josephvincent. The highlight was obviously seeing Ryan. This dude is just adorbz beyond word. My liking for Ryan was not an overnight event but it progressed gradually after watching countless videos during my free time. I really dig his humour and for the fact that he's cute.

After the entire event ended, Lisa and I were just famished and who cares about Youtube stars when you've got an empty stomach. Food > Anything. We headed down for supper but right after we've "replenished" ourselves, we started our fan girl fantasies again. What's new what's new... We even joked about taking out satays for Ryan when we got back to the hotel.

With our tummies filled, we headed back to get Lisa's car and walked through Ritz Carlton (faster route to Pan Pacific). We thought it wouldn't hurt to see if Ryan was anywhere nearby right? Surprise surprise, the Youtubers were having some after party (according to Eatyourkimchi). HELL YEAH RYAN. That was one of the most surreal moment ever- he playing the guitar, slightly elevated from the rest because he was sitting on the sides of a couch.

Fan girl mode: ON. We made our way to get a picture with Ryan. He was uber nice and friendly and cute and cute and so CUTE! I don't know if it was tiring for him but he is always smiling. Such a qt pie. We got our photos and parted ways. I would have initiated a conversation if he wasn't interrupted by someone (obviously more important than me). At least I got to tell him, "Hey Ryan, I love your videos." and got a reply of "Thanks". More than enough. Contented.

That mere 10 minutes practically made my entire week (still is) and felt beyond wonderful. Kudos to Ryan and would really want to get to know him more if it is possible. I really like the fact that he is so humble even after all the fame he has gotten. Just look at how Justin Bieber has become. :(

Found this to be one of the best moments of my life and should be blogged.
